About Dr. Frost
Some careers are built; others feel like they find you.
For me, it was a bit of both.
Growing up in a large rural town, my father was the local undertaker. School holidays often meant helping him with monumental work, setting headstones, and sometimes even digging graves. Those early experiences left a lasting impression — teaching me, from a young age, the deep importance of honouring those who have passed.
Years later, I found my way into the world of spatial science. Over the past 17 years, I've worked on projects across Australia, from local community initiatives to national-scale developments. I’ve specialised in cutting-edge vehicle routing solutions, contributed to a wide range of spatial projects, and even taught Spatial Science at the tertiary level.
In 2018, I decided to take my career in a new direction and completed a Doctorate in Geophysics for Archaeology. It led me back, full circle, to a cause close to my heart — locating unmarked graves.
Today, through S.E.E. Spatial & Geophysics, I’m proud to help families, communities, and councils uncover and honour these hidden resting places. Using advanced Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology, I combine science with respect, helping to preserve heritage, uphold duty of care obligations, and bring a sense of closure where it's needed most.
This work is more than a profession — it’s a calling.
